Bethlehem Children’s School

bcsNew

One of the recent jobs I’m most proud of is my redesign for the Bethlehem Children’s School.

bcsOrigTheirĀ  original site was full of tons of great content and a great resource for both existing and prospective parents, however the design was hard to navigate, slow, and very outdated. I was in the very rare position of having nearly total control over the job and so I stepped up to the role as more of an art director than a web designer… A challenge but also very fun. The new site has attracted tons of visitors, new and old, and generated a lot of buzz. We’re still working on filling in more of the content, and now that I’ve seen the WordPress way, I’m planning to convert the site over to a WordPress CMS. But first I have to get it hosted on a decent server. One thing at a time. In the meantime, BCS has a site that reflects the high caliber of their school and attracts more parents (and hopefully, in turn, increases enrollment).

In the words of school academic director Mary Patridge-Brown, “It’s like we’ve been starving for years, and you’ve come along and given us the most delicious food.”
